You may have read the story of this Gastric band patient prepared to sue NHS. Although Tim Daily did lose half his 24 stone after the gastric band surgery he says it’s made his life so miserable that he’d rather be fat again. He used to suffer from diabetes and had a series of "mini-strokes" but since the procedure he now claims he can only feed through a tube and faces a lifetime of agony. "People often think having this op is a quick fix, but they need to be more aware of the risks” he said.

In my practice I’m used to people wanting a quick fix, especially for weight loss, no one seems to either be able or want to put the real work in to being healthy and slimmer. Of course there is a small section of the population, who for one reason or another cannot lose weight.
I would strongly urge people who wish to reduce their weight permanently to consider their whole lifestyle and why they want to be slimmer.  The ‘why’ really needs to be strong.  In my Holistic Weight Reduction Programme you are treated from every aspect to reduce your weight.  I treat the ‘whole’ you and utilize your Values, Beliefs, Emotions and psychological factors, what I NEVER do is ask anyone to diet.

Please consider your life carefully before opting for surgery and really clarify what it is that prevents you reducing your weight permanently.
