WEEKLY COACHING TIP #99 HOW TO HAVE A MILLIONAIRE MINDSET Welcome to new subscribers. To regular reader, who can you send this tip to either in this country or another. I would appreciate you spreading the word. Many thanks. A couple of years ago I had the good fortune to come across an article on prosperity consciousness. Basically bringing money and prosperity more into your awareness so you can have more of what you would like in your life. This article had a huge influence on me. Money, then, was the one area of my life I hadn't really looked too closely at. If there was enough, it was okay. Now, some years later, boy have I altered that attitude. Regular readers will know that I am 'big' on visualisation of any goals, and financial abundance is no different. If you'd like to become wealthier you may like to read on and ask yourself some questions around this area. First of all, how wealthy do you wish to become, rich? (how much in the bank or assets would that mean). A millionaire, multi-millionaire, billionaire? I have read about many millionaires and how they 'made it', then quite often lost their wealth and then made it again. In fact, two of my clients, both of whom are millionaires, absolutely know, that no matter what went wrong in their business, even if it all went down the tubes they would get up and start again and succeed!. The one thing running through all of these millionaires (apart from their ideas or business's) was their ability to 'tap' into their unconscious mind. Literally re-programming old, negative and quite often, handed down beliefs from parents, etc which do not empower them. They work from the inside out. You see, it's no good having the ideas or desire to become wealthy if your mind is telling you 'money is the root of all evil,' 'money doesn't make you happy', 'it's bad to want money when there are so many people starving in the world', etc. All these beliefs will keep you 'stuck' and you will always wonder why you can't acquire wealth and keep it. I read an article by T. Harv Eker about 'How to develop a millionaire mind'. In this article he describes how he noticed in his seminars on wealth that there could be 2 people sitting side by side in his seminar learning exactly the same thing and one student would rocket using the tools and strategies to become wealthier, the other one would more or less stay where he was concerning wealth. Eker came to realise that you can have the best 'tools' and strategies, but if you have a leak in your 'toolbox' (your mind) you've got a problem. This is what I call the self-sabotaging theory. Until the inner you has changed around beliefs that empower you and you feel ready and deserving to have wealth, nothing is going to change. Your wealth can only grow to the extent you do! Also how do you handle money, do you know how much you have in the black in the bank or in the red. Does your cheque book balance. All these things matter. How do you expect the universe to send you something 'extra' if you can't even handle what you have now. Something to think about..and ACT on! All wealthy people have conviction in what ever it is they want to do. They have a vision, what's yours, and how will you be contributing to the world, humanity by achieving this vision. Put time aside each day to really focus whole mindedly on your vision. Sit down and relax and see it and FEEL it. Do it several times a day. Make a note of the 6 people you hang out with most, then notice whether they are wealthy or at least financially sound, or 'losers' around money. Read about wealthy people, some fantastic books, even though they are very old, are brilliant in teaching how to use your mind and the power of the unconscious to build your wealth. My favourite is by Napoleon Hill called "Think and Grow Rich," and 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki. Most other modern books have just jazzed up what he wrote all those years ago. Have discipline to follow through on your vision no matter what happens. There is a big difference between dreamers who do and dreamers who don't! We all give out a vibration, when you are congruent with what you want 100%, you set into motion the Law of Attraction. By doing this you will begin to attract what you think about. (Remember though, this also works in reverse, so if you are thinking 'lack', don't be surprised if you get more of the same.) Have trust in the universe. If you are really focused on your vision and seeing and feeling it several times a day, you send out the message you are serious about this. When you do this do it with certainty that it is already happening you just relax, no need to 'effort' it. Now let the thought go out into the universe and most importantly, be ready for the receiving. Remember you must think you are worth it and deserve it. In fact this bit is crucial. It is actually our natural birthright to have abundance in everything. It is our collective 'lack' consciousness and unawareness of universal laws that have created whole nations of people in other countries who do not even have enough to eat. Think abundance always! Next week it's the 100th WCT and you will have the opportunity to win some free one-to-one or telephone coaching. Until next week Onwards and Upwards and have a wealthy and wise week! 2004 Denise Bosque All Rights Reserved |
