WEEKLY COACHING TIP
# 116
Today
I thought I'd share with you a poem by Richard Wilkins which I really
like, because in a way, it really encapsulates the essence of
self-development, which is how we think about things.
You
might want to print it out and put it somewhere visible to remind you to focus
and imagine the things you really want in your life.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
on how we think
as we do on how we look.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
giving our time
as we do selling it.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
appreciating
as we do taking for granted.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
enjoying our dreams
as we do struggling to create realities.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
loving ourselves
as we do trying to find someone to love us.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
on what we like
as we do on what we don't.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
letting go
as we do holding on.
Imagine if we spent as much effort
enjoying the idea of heaven
as we do fearing the threat of death.
Imagine the life we'd have.
