TOP 10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BELIEFS

In our lives our core beliefs and values drive us. Our beliefs are running
consciously and unconsciously and they make us act in accordance with them. So
for example, someone who believes they are not really very good at their job or
couldnt really succeed to the top of the ladder, will unconsciously make sure
they dont get that promotion, always be in the back seat and remain
unrecognised.
Equally someone who believes they have the capacity to have a wonderful, loving
relationship will more often than not, attract just that. Simply because they
believe they are capable of it and deserve it and therefore and will naturally
take actions that support that belief. Often the beliefs that are running
unconsciously are the ones that can give us the most problems in our lives
because we are not even aware of them.
Here are some things you need to know about beliefs.
1.
Remember a belief is only something we have
feelings of
certainty about, its not necessarily true!
2.
If you decide to do something and dont really believe you can do it, youve
already sabotaged yourself.
3.
Most limiting beliefs weve inherited and they keep us stuck in patterns and
often fear too.
4.
It doesnt really matter what you believe, the only thing that matters is that
the belief you choose, must be the most empowering belief for
you. The rest
of the world
doesnt count.
5.
If you dont surface your unconscious beliefs youll never know whats running
your life and you could seriously limit your self and your whole life.
6.
If you really want something in life, develop absolutely certainty you can do or
have it, despite there being no past references of this in your life. For
example, you may never have started a business before, and everyone is telling
you that youll never succeed. However, once you develop the beliefs around
what you want and let go of any negative past influences you can achieve exactly
what you desire. You are not your past.
7.
If you know what some of your limiting beliefs are and really dont want them
anymore, whats stopping you changing them?
8.
We only believe something if we no longer question it in any way. Questions all
your beliefs to see if they are serving you or not.
9.
To achieve excellence in any area of your life elevate the positive belief you
hold about it to a conviction.
10.
When you know what beliefs you want to change and get enough pain (i.e. the
cost of keeping it), be it emotional, psychological or physical, you create
leverage to take on your new belief.
